Thank you for visiting our website. In the following, we would like to inform you about the handling of your data according to. Article 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Controller
The controller responsible for the data collection and processing described below is the entity named in the legal notice.
Storage of the IP address
We store the IP address transmitted by your web browser for a strictly earmarked period of seven days in the interest of being able to recognize, limit and eliminate attacks on our website. After this period, we delete or anonymize the IP address. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR.
Usage data
When you visit our website, so-called usage data is temporarily stored on our web server as a log for statistical purposes in order to improve the quality of our web pages. This data record consists of the page from which the file was requested, the name of the file, the date and time of the request, the amount of data transferred,
the access status (file transferred, file not found), the description of the type of web browser used, the IP address of the requesting computer, which is shortened so that a personal reference can no longer be established.
The aforementioned log data is only stored anonymously.
Processor
We transmit your data within the scope of order processing in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Art. 28 DSGVO to service providers who support us in the operation of our website and related processes. Our service providers are strictly bound by instructions and contractually obligated to us accordingly. We use the following service providers: agro kontakt Dr. Wolfgang Schiffer GmbH, Bahnhofstraße 36, 52388 Nörvenich (design/realization of our online presence).
Transfer to third parties outside the EU/EEA
We do not share personal data with third countries outside the EU.
Cookies
We use cookies on our websites that are necessary for the use of our websites. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your terminal device and can be read. A distinction is made between session cookies, which are deleted as soon as you close your browser, and permanent cookies, which are stored beyond the individual session. We do not use these required cookies for analysis, tracking or advertising purposes. Contact form
You have the option of contacting us via several web forms. To use our contact form, we generally require your name and e-mail address. If you request a quote, additional information on the product and fertilizer per ha is required. You can provide additional information, but you do not have to.
Information that you provide to us in the context of contacting us, we use on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b DSGVO or Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO in the interest of answering your inquiry as uncomplicatedly, promptly and customer-oriented as possible.
Your data will only be processed to respond to your request. The data will not be passed on to third parties.
Google Maps
We embed map services on our websites that are not stored on our servers. To ensure that calling up our web pages with embedded map services does not automatically lead to content from the third-party provider being reloaded, we only display locally stored preview images of the maps in a first step. This does not provide the third-party provider with any information.
Only after clicking on the thumbnail, content of the third party provider will be reloaded. This provides the third-party provider with the information that you have accessed our site as well as the usage data technically required in this context. We have no influence on the further data processing by the third-party provider. By clicking on the preview image, you give us your consent to load content from the third-party provider.
The embedding takes place on the basis of your consent in accordance with. Art. 6 par. 1 p. 1 lit. a DSGVO or § 15 para. 3 sentence 1 TMG, provided that you have previously given your consent by clicking on the preview image.
Please note that the embedding of some map services means that your data will be processed outside the EU or the EEA. In some countries, there is a risk that authorities may access the data for security and surveillance purposes without notifying you or allowing you to seek redress. If we use providers in insecure third countries and you consent, the transfer to an insecure third country will be made on the basis of Art. 49 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.

Use of Google reCAPTCHA
On our website we use Google reCAPTCHA (hereinafter referred to as “reCAPTCHA”), a service of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”).
reCAPTCHA is used to check whether data is entered on our websites (e.g. in contact forms) by a human or by an automated program. For this purpose, reCAPTCHA analyzes the behavior of the website visitor based on various characteristics.
This analysis begins automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information, such as
- Your IP address ,
- Time spent on the website,
- Mouse movements,
- the date and time of your visit,
- Your browser settings (e.g. language),
- the screen resolution
- and the user’s entries.
Information about existing Google cookies on your device is also analyzed. The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google.
Data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to protect our website from abusive automated spying, spam and other automated attacks. We have determined that this interest outweighs the rights and freedoms of users, as the use of the service is necessary to maintain the security and integrity of our website.
The data is transmitted to Google in the USA. The service provider is certified under an adequacy decision, the Data Privacy Framework (DPF), for the transfer of data to a third country (USA).
You have the right to object to this data processing at any time. However, a complete objection to the use of reCAPTCHA would impair the use of certain functionalities (e.g. forms) of our website. Alternatively, you can stop using our website.

Data security
We take technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access as comprehensively as possible. We use an encryption process on our pages. Your information is transmitted from your computer to our server and vice versa over the Internet using TLS 1.2 256 bit encryption. You can recognize this by the fact that in the status bar of your browser the lock symbol is closed and the address line starts with https://.
Your rights as a user
When processing your personal data, the GDPR grants you certain rights as a website user:
Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR):
You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you are being processed, and, where that is the case, access to the personal data and the information specified in Art. 15 GDPR.
Right to rectification and erasure (Art. 16 and 17 GDPR):
You have the right to obtain without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you and, where applicable, to have incomplete personal data completed. You also have the right to request that personal data concerning you be deleted without delay, provided that one of the reasons listed in detail in Article 17 of the GDPR applies, e.g. if the data is no longer required for the purposes pursued.
Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR):
You have the right to request the restriction of processing if one of the conditions listed in Art. 18 GDPR is met, e.g. if you have objected to the processing pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR or for the duration of any examination as to whether our legitimate interests outweigh your interests as a data subject.
Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR):
In certain cases, which are listed in detail in Art. 20 GDPR, you have the right to receive the personal data concerning you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or to request the transmission of this data to a third party.
Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR):
If data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO (data processing for the protection of legitimate interests) or on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. e DSGVO (data processing for the purposes of public interest or in the exercise of official authority), you have the right to object to the processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then no longer process the personal data unless there are demonstrably compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
You have the right to Article 77 DSGVO the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you are of the opinion that the processing of the data concerning you violates data protection regulations. The right of complaint may be asserted in particular before a supervisory authority in the Member State of your residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.
